Our Latest Message
Wake Up! Can't You Hear God Calling You!
God is constantly calling His people to return to Him, yet many remain spiritually asleep and unaware of His voice. Through scripture passages like Jeremiah 3 and Ephesians 5, we're reminded to wake up from spiritual slumber and acknowledge our sins before God. When we respond to God's call, He doesn't just forgive us—He completely transforms us by removing our old stony heart and giving us a new one. This transformation changes everything about us: our walk, our talk, and our thoughts. The urgency to respond to God's call is emphasized because no one knows when their life will end or when Christ will return.

REGISTER FOR DIGITAL INCLUSION PROGRAM (LIMITED SPACES)
Next class Starts in September!!!
Program Summary: The "Digital Inclusion for Seniors" program aims to bridge the digital divide among seniors in the 14605-zip code and surrounding area by providing essential digital literacy training and access to technology. This initiative will enable seniors to stay connected, access vital online services, and improve their overall quality of life.
Program Rationale: The digital divide disproportionately affects seniors, especially in low-income areas like the 14605-zip code. Many seniors lack the skills and resources to navigate the digital world, leading to social isolation and limited access to essential services. Prayer House Church of God by Faith is uniquely positioned to address this issue through our strong community ties and experience in serving vulnerable populations.

Meal Contributions
- The suggested meal contribution for Lunch Club is $3.50 per meal unless you earn more than 185% of the Federal Poverty Rate.
- For those who earn more than 185% of the Federal Poverty Level, we suggest a contribution more in line with the actual meal cost of $7.50 per meal. All contributions go back into the program to allow for expanded reach and improved services.
- Persons who are not yet 60 or otherwise eligible may participate by paying the full $7.50 cost of the meal (this includes grandchildren and domestic partners under age 60 who are not a legal spouse, as well as paid staff or visitors that are not otherwise eligible).
- Guests are defined as someone who is not otherwise eligible. An otherwise eligible individual does not need to be a resident of the community or location serving the meal.
- While you do not need to be a resident to receive a meal, some locations may require that you are a resident, or pay a fee, to participate in recreational programs not funded by the Monroe County Office for the Aging Nutrition Program.
